Thomas Mainwaring 
Thomas was born about 1437 in Ightfield, Shropshire, England. Thomas' father was William Mainwaring and his mother was Margaret Warren. His paternal grandparents were Randle Mainwaring and Margery De Venables; his maternal grandparents were John Warren and Matilda Cheney. He had a brother and seven sisters, named George, Elizabeth, Joan, Cecily, Ellen, Agnes, Margaret and Margery. He was the youngest of the nine children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named John, Humphrey and Anne. He died in 1508.-
