John Mainwaring

John was born about 1394 in Over Peover, Carincham, Cheshire, England. John's father was Randle Mainwaring and his mother was Margery De Venables. His paternal grandparents were William Mainwaring and Elizabeth Leycester; his maternal grandparents were Sir Hugh de Venables and Margery Cotton. He had a brother and six sisters, named William, Clemence, Phillipa, Elizabeth, Cecily, Joan and Ellen. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He had a half-sister named Margery. He died in September 1480.
