Markgraf of the von Bavarian Ostmark was born about 0861.  Markgraf of the von Bavarian Ostmark's father was II Ernst and his mother was Adelheid.  His paternal grandparents were I Ernst and Fredeburg of Frommen. He had two brothers named I and III.  He was the youngest of the three children.
