Princess of Great Poland was born about 1152 in Kraków, Poland.  Princess of Great Poland's father was Miesko III "the Old" and her mother was Princess of Hungary Erzsebet.  Her paternal grandparents were Boleslaw III "Crooked Mouth" and Countess of Berg-Schelkingen Salome; her maternal grandparents were King of Hungary Almos and Premislava Svyatopolkovna. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Prince of Poznan and Kalisch, Prince of Great Poland, Wierzchoslawa and Princess of Great Poland.  She was the second youngest of the five children. She had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Prince of Kujavia, Prince of Kalisch, III, Princess of Great Poland, Princess of Great Poland and Princess of Great Poland.  She died on December 12th, 1201.
