Burkhard III of was born about 0857.  Burkhard III of's father was II Burkhard and his mother was Adred of Loingau.  His paternal grandfather was Burkhard I "Comes"; his maternal grandfather was Bardo of Loingau.  He was an only child.  He died about 0919.
