I was born about 1065 in Wurzburg, Unterfranken, Bavaria. I's father was I Poppo and his mother was Countess of Thuringia Hildegard. His paternal grandfather was Count Of Grabfeld Otto; his maternal grandparents were Ludwig "mit Dem Barte" Count of Thuringia and Countess of Sangerhausen Cacilie. He was an only child. He died in 1144.
