I was born about 0940 in Semur, Cote d'Or, France.  I's father was Joseran De Semur and his mother was Ricoaire.  His paternal grandfather was Seigneur De Semur Froilan. He had a sister named Gerard.  He was the older of the two children.  He died in 1019.

They had a son named II.
