Simon was born about 1269 in Arid Lovat, Inverness, Scotland. Simon's father was Andrew Fraser and his mother was Beatrix Le Cheyne. His paternal grandfather was Richard Fraser; his maternal grandfather was Reginald Le Cheyne. He had a brother named Alexander John. He was the older of the two children. He died on July 19th, 1333 in Battle of Halidon Hill, Northumberland, England.-
