Rachel A. was born about 1904.1 Rachel A.'s father was Charles Henry Foster and her mother was Clara Jane Krum. Her maternal grandparents were Thatcher M. Krum and Francis Falsenbee or Fabereger. She had a brother and two sisters, named Thomas Leroy, Belle and Arzella. She was the oldest of the four children.-
