Berthe Evanson

Berthe was born in 1879 in Ringsaker, Norway.  Berthe's father was Ole Evanson and her mother was Oline Johannesdatter.  Her paternal grandfather was Ouden Hrövig; her maternal grandfather was Johannes Olson. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Evan, Olaf, Oscar, Sever R., Albert John, Oline and Julia O..  She was the fourth oldest of the eight children. She had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named Berndt, Berthe, Anne and Marie.

‌Berthe and Couyt were married in a religious ceremony on October 16th, 1897 in Onalaska, Wisconsin.
