Fastré was born about 1159. Fastré's father was Nicolas "Plukiel" D'Avesnes and her mother was Countess de la Roche Mathilde. Her paternal grandparents were Wauthier D'Oisy and Princess Of Mortagne Ade; her maternal grandparents were I Henri and Mathilde De Limbourg. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Jacques, Radulph, Ida and Mathilde. She was the third oldest of the five children.-
