Clemence D'Arcy 
Clemence was born about 1175 in Nocton, Lincolnshire, England. Clemence's father was Thomas D'Arcy and her mother was Alice D'Eincourt. Her paternal grandfather was Thomas D'Arcy; her maternal grandfather was Ralph D'Eincourt. She had five brothers named Thomas, George, Robert, William and Roger. She was the second youngest of the six children. She died in September 1196 in Yorkshire, England.General Notes
Although Clemence D'Arcy was a fictional character created by Sharon Kay Penman for her novel "The Reckoning", I have included her and the actual genealogy that would have been hers according to the book. I have left her in this work as a tribute to this excellent story about the historical figures portrayed by Ms. Penman.
