Richard Cotton

Richard was born about 1482. Richard's father was Richard Cotton and his mother was Jane Brereton. His paternal grandparents were John Cotton and Mary de la Pole; his maternal grandparents were William IX Brereton and Philippa de Hulse. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Robert, Thomas, Isabel, Matilda, Catherine and Eleanor. He was the oldest of the seven children.
