Sgt. John Colby 
Sgt. John was born on November 19th, 1656. Sgt. John's father was John Colby and his mother was Frances Hoyt. His paternal grandparents were Anthony Colby and Susanna. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Anthony, Deacon Thomas, Sarah, Elizabeth, Frances, Susanna, Mary and Hannah. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 62 on April 6th, 1719.
