Louis VII 'the Younger' was born about 1119 in Reims, Champagne, France.  Louis VII 'the Younger''s father was Louis VI "the Fat" Capet and his mother was Adelaide De Maurienne.  His paternal grandparents were Philippe I 'the Fair' Capet and Bertha of Holland; his maternal grandparents were Humbert II 'the Fat' and Gisela de Bourgogne. He had six brothers and a sister, named Philippe Prince of, Archbishop of Rheims, Prince of France, Robert I, Arch Dean of Paris, I and Constance.  He was the third oldest of the eight children.  He died on September 19th, 1180 in Paris, Isle De France, France.
