William Booth

William was born about 1400. William's father was Sir John Booth and his mother was Joan Trafford. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Booth and Elena De Workesley; his maternal grandparents were Henry Trafford and Margery Ince. He had eight brothers and six sisters, named Robert, Sir Henry, Thomas, Matthew, Richard, Roger, John, Ralph, Margery, Johanna, Joan, Alice, Catherine and Lucy. He was the eighth oldest of the fifteen children.
