Christ was born in 1852 in Norway.  Christ's father was Anders Pederson and his mother was Maret Christensdatter.  His paternal grandparents were Peder Hanson and Abelone Andersdatter. He had a sister named Ahne (Anna).  He was the older of the two children.  He died at the age of 39 on April 7th, 1891 in Mendota, Dane Co., Wisconsin.  He was buried in Little Norway Cemetery, Black River Falls, Wisconsin.
