Rebecca was born on May 12th, 1837 in Drum Hogart,Donegal,Ireland. Rebecca's father was Robert YOUNG and her mother was Margaret (Marguerite) MCFARLAND. Her maternal grandparents were William MC FARLAND and Margaret MC CORMICK. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Andrew, Jane, Martha and Hannah.
