Thomas was born about 1595 in ,Preston,Lancashire,England. Thomas' father was Anthony WALL and his mother was Margaret GRICE (GREED). His paternal grandparents were William WALL and Anne SINGLETON; his maternal grandparents were Thomas GRICE and Alice Mrs GRICE. He had two brothers and two sisters, named William, John, Mary and Alice. He was the second oldest of the five children. He died on September 10th, 1612.
