Newton Toothman

Newton was born in 1842 in Decatur,Sand Creek,IN.  Newton's father was *David Toothman and his mother was *Dolly \Dorothy Evans.  His paternal grandparents were *John Toothman and *Elizabeth; his maternal grandparents were *Jacob Evans and *Elizabeth. He had six brothers and two sisters, named William, Joseph, Ratliff, Jasper, *Russell, John, Catherine and Ana A..  He was the fifth oldest of the nine children.
