Rebecca was born in Monmouth Co,NJ. Rebecca's father was Job (Jr) Throckmorton and her mother was Frances. Her paternal grandparents were Job (Sr) Throckmorton and Mrs. Sarah Throckmorton. She had a brother named Thomas.
‌Rebecca and *Charles (Sr.) were married in a religious ceremony in 1765 in Fredrick Co,VA. They had eight sons and three daughters, named *Andrew, John, Lewis, Charles (Jr), Peter, Thomas, Throckmorton, William, Catherine, Sarah and Susanna.
