Jesse was born on February 26th, 1730 in of Glastenbury,Hartford,Connecticut. Jesse's father was Eleazer Strong and his mother was Jemima Stiles. His paternal grandparents were Jedediah Strong and Abiah Ingersoll; his maternal grandparents were Robert Stiles, Jr. and Ruth Bridges.
