Abiah was born about 1642.1   Abiah's father was Nicholas Street and his mother was Anna Poole.  His paternal grandparents were Nicholas Street and Susannah Gilbert; his maternal grandparents were Sir William Poole and Mary Periam. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Samuel, Sarah, Susannah, Hannah and Rozamond.  He was the second youngest of the six children.1
