Edna J. was born on August 22nd, 1867 in Warrick County,Indiana. Edna J.'s father was William Stephens and her mother was Laura Powers. Her paternal grandparents were Soloman Stephens and Nancy Phillips; her maternal grandparents were Isaac Powers and Philenia Rice. She had a brother and four sisters, named James E., Elizabeth Cordelia, Nancy A. P., Mary Isabelle and Sarah E.. She was the youngest of the six children. She died at the age of 22 on December 3rd, 1889 in Warrick County,Indiana.-
