William , Jr. Stacy 
William , Jr. was born on July 21st, 1755 in New Salem,MA. William , Jr.'s father was William Stacy and his mother was Sarah Day. His paternal grandparents were Nymphas Stacy and Hannah Littlehale; his maternal grandparents were Samuel Day and Sarah Lurvey. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Jospeh, Benjamin, Nymphas, John, Philomon, Gideon, Sarah and Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 66 on December 21st, 1821 in Marietta,Ohio.General Notes
William Jr. served in the Revolutionary War, entering June 5, 1780, for the term of six month s. He marched July 6, 1780; was discharged Dec 16, 1780, and served 5 months, 21 days, wit h travel (220 Miles) included.
William and Mehitable were the parents of seven children, all but the last one born in N ew Salem, Ma. The youngest daughter, Sophia, was born in Marietta, Ohio, where the family ar rived in 1789, with Col. Stacy and several other family members.
