Fred Smith 
Fred's father was Peter Schmitt and his mother was Margaretha Dipple. His maternal grandparents were John Dipple and Marie Magdelena Eleanor Becker. He had two brothers and two sisters, and also nine siblings of unknown gender, named John B., Joseph D., Susanna, Barbara, child, child, child, child, child, child, child, child and child.General Notes
He disappeared because he did not wish to become a priest and family insisted. (This is a strong catholic family, but Captain John Smith grew bitter toward the Catholic Church and he withdrew hismembership.)
