Sarah India Scales 
Sarah India was born on February 16th, 1876. Sarah India's father was George T. Scales and her mother was Sarah E. Stephens. Her paternal grandparents were William Levi Scales and Mariah Powers. She had three brothers and two sisters, named William Josiah, James Thomas, John Louis, Cordelia Ellen and Lucinda Catherine. She was the second youngest of the six children.-
