George Sandage 
George was born in 1829. George's father was Thomas Sandage and his mother was Margaret Lasher. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Sandage and Nancy Ann Simonson. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Nathan, Frank, Jacob, John D., Elenore, Martha, Sally and Nancy. He was the oldest of the nine children.-
