Rebeckah was born in 1756 in Augusta County,Virginia. Rebeckah's father was Edward Rutledge and her mother was Sarah Armstrong. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Rutledge and Jean Armstrong; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Armstrong and Ann?. She had three brothers and four sisters, named James Enos, George B., John, Mary, Lucy, Sarah and Rosanna.General Notes
Rebeckah(Rebecca) made bond (with Edward Rutledge and Henry Campbell) as administratrix of her husband's will (Augusta Co. VA Will Book # 3 pg 277) . She possibly married 2nd John Scott. In Edward's will, 1787, she is named Rebecca Rutledge.
