Thomas W. was born in 1793 in NC.1 Thomas W.'s father was William David Riggins and his mother was Methurisa Chisenhall. His paternal grandparents were William Powell Riggins and Priscilla; his maternal grandparents were Reuben Chisenhall and Jane Leigh. He had five brothers named Powell, David H., Mark, George Washington and Right. He was the third oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 71 in 1864 in Russell Co.,KY. He was buried in Russell Co.,KY.-
