Charles Homer was born on February 21st, 1873 in Winston,Davis Co.,MO. Charles Homer's father was Charles Reid and his mother was Mahala Ann Hughes. His maternal grandparents were William I. Hughes and Mahala Rodgers. He had a brother and a sister, named Louis Dolphus and Malula. He was the youngest of the three children. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named James Edwin, Jesse Randolph, Creola Agnes, Beulah Benton and Infant. He died at the age of 33 on August 24th, 1906 in Norcatur,Decatur Co.,KS.-
