Marrigje's baptism took place on December 14th, 1710 in Oudshoorn,Zuid Holland,Netherland.  Marrigje's father was Evert Jacobsz RAM and her mother was Grietje Dirksde RIJNSBURGER.  Her paternal grandparents were Jacob Jacobsz RAM and Aeltje Maertensdr PIJPER. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Jan Jansz, Willem Evertsz, Klaas Evertsz, Leuntje and Tijsje Evertsdr.
