His paternal grandparents were Daniel Pruett and Mrs. Sarah Pruett; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Bradford and Mary Holmes. He had three brothers and five sisters, named John Bradford, Thomas J., Henry, Mary, Sarah, Lydia, Elizabeth and Selah. He died about 1830 in Smith,TN.-
