William Prewitt

William was born about 1726.  William's father was Samuel (Sr) Prewitt and his mother was Elizabeth Hawker.  His paternal grandparents were John Prewitt and Sarah Lessene; his maternal grandparents were Robert Hawker and Amy Selby. He had a brother and five sisters, named Samuel (Jr), Pricilla, Sarah, Patience, Sarah and Mary.  He was the second youngest of the seven children.
