Miles Powers 
Miles was born on January 9th, 1842. Miles' father was Isaac Powers and his mother was Philenia Rice. His paternal grandparents were Isaac H. Powers and Abigail Davis. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Mariah, George Wesley, John, Massa, Minerva, Laura and Elizabeth. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Samuel and Dica. He died at the age of 10 on December 1st, 1852. He was buried in Bethabara Cemetery.-
