Melvin Adophus (Dolph) Powers 
Melvin Adophus (Dolph) was born on December 16th, 1864. Melvin Adophus (Dolph)'s father was George Powers and his mother was Sarah Ann Scales. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Powers and Levina LeMasters; his maternal grandfather was John Scales. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Andrew Jackson, Thomas Jefferson, Louis Martin, Ernest Adrain, Malena Caroline and Laura Alice. He was the second youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 91 on May 17th, 1956. He was buried in Maple Grove Cem. Indiana.-
