Mark Powers 
Mark was born on August 28th, 1847 in Warrick Co. Indiana. Mark's father was Joseph Powers and his mother was Mrs. Cynthia Yarber. His paternal grandparents were John D. Powers and Sarah Blackford. He had four brothers and a sister, named John S., James E., Infant, Jacob and Mariah Elizabeth. He was the third youngest of the six children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named William and Mary. He died at the age of 44 on February 15th, 1892. He was buried in Log Creek Cemetary,Pike County,Indiana.-
