Alexander Pound 
Alexander was born on February 11th, 1824 in Prairie Creek,Vigo County,Indiana. Alexander's father was Joseph Pound and his mother was Perlina Elliott. His maternal grandparents were William Powell Elliott and Elizabeth Elliott. He had four brothers and six sisters, named James Riley, William Thomas, Benjamin D., Warren, Emmaline, America, Sarah Elizabeth, Nancy Ann, Frances Jane and Amanda. He died at the age of 58 on August 17th, 1882. He was buried in White Cem. Montgomery Co.,Kansas.-
