Asa Pipkin 
Asa was born about 1834 in St. Clair,IL. Asa's father was *Abraham McEnnons Pipkin and his mother was *Nancy Jane Potts. His paternal grandparents were *Jesse Pipkin and *Widow Kain; his maternal grandparents were *Jeremiah Potts and *Nancy Beadler. He had five brothers and five sisters, named *Elisha Madison, Abraham Mcennons Jr., Phillip Barnabas, Perry Maxey, Isaac J., Emily, Isabel, Mary Mahaly, Nancy Jane and Eliza Ann. He died in 1862.-
