Mary was born on December 23rd, 1757 in North Petherton,Som.,Engl. and her baptism took place on December 23rd, 1757 in North Petherton,Somerset,England. Mary's father was Edward PALMER and her mother was Hannah Martha BOWLBY. Her paternal grandfather was Phillip PALMER; her maternal grandparents were John BOWLBY and Mary LANNING. She had seven brothers and five sisters, named Edmond, James Baird, Edmund, Phillip, John Bowlby, Thomas, James Baird, Betty, Sarah, Ruhanna, Hannah and Elizabeth. She was the third oldest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 61 on November 14th, 1819 in ,Rowen,North Carolina.General Notes
