Isabella was born in 1170 in Valenciennes. Isabella's father was Baldwin V and her mother was Margarite Of Lorraine Flanders. Her paternal grandparents were Baldwin IV and Alix De Namur; her maternal grandparents were Thierry Of Lorraine and Sibylia Of Anjou. She had two brothers and a sister, named Baldwin VI, Henry and Yolande. She was the oldest of the four children. She died at the age of 20 on March 15th, 1190 in Paris,France. She was buried in 1190 in Notre Dame,Paris,France.General Notes
