Sarah McQueary 
Sarah was born on August 24th, 1802 in Reddies River,Wilkes County,NC. Sarah's father was William McQueary and her mother was Nancy Ann Shepherd. Her paternal grandparents were John Macquarrie and Miranda Stout; her maternal grandparents were Robert Shepherd and Sarah Rash. She had six brothers and three sisters, named John, Allen, Pleasant, Jesse, William, Humphry, Polly, Rebeccah and Nancy. She was the fifth youngest of the ten children.-
