Barnabas (Barnes) May 
Barnabas (Barnes) was born on September 8th, 1800 in Washington County,Tennessee. Barnabas (Barnes)'s father was Cassimore May and his mother was Mary Horne. He had six brothers and three sisters, named John, William, Peter, Adam, Samuel, David, Elizabeth (Betsey), Mary and Catherine "Caty". He was the second youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 56 on September 21st, 1856 in Washington County,Tnnessee.
‌Barnabas (Barnes) and Margaret were married in a religious ceremony on December 3rd, 1818 in Washington County,Tennessee. They had six sons and six daughters, named Jacob, William C., Samuel, David, Isaac, Son, Harriet, Daughter, Mary Ann, Elizabeth, Margaret S. and Catharine Malinda.

Isaac May
Isaac was born on February 6th, 1834 in Washington County,Tennessee. He died at the age of 48 on November 16th, 1882.
Elizabeth May
Elizabeth was born on May 14th, 1836 in Washington County,Tennessee. She died at the age of 37 on September 28th, 1873 in Kansas.
Margaret S. May
Margaret S. was born on September 7th, 1837 in Washington County,Tennessee. She died at the age of 69 on July 10th, 1907.
Catharine Malinda May
Catharine Malinda was born on October 7th, 1841 in Washington County,Tennessee. She died at the age of 59 on September 25th, 1901.
