Cornelia's father was Cornelis Stevense MATSE and her mother was Swaantje Pieters HOOFDMAN.  Her paternal grandparents were Steven Cornelisz MATSE and Jannigje Pieters VERMEUL. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Pieter, Steven, Tieleman Cornelisse, Aagje, Lijsbeth, Neeltje and Trijntje. She had a half-brother and five half-sisters, named Tieleman Cornelisse, Jannetje, Maria, Aaltje, Aagje and Cornelia.  She was buried on July 3rd, 1775 in Sluipwijk,Zuid Holland,Netherland.
