Lydia was born in 1682 in Windham,Windham,Connecticut. Lydia's father was Samuel Lincoln and her mother was Sarah Royce. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Lincoln and Mary Austin; her maternal grandparents were Jonathan Royce and D. Caulkins. She was an only child.
