Conn. Mary Kendrick Keeler died on Nov.25, 1797. Their children were:

James Keeler, born June 13, 1748, married Abigail Whitlock, born Oct.30, 1750 in Ridgebury.
During the Revolutionary War James Keeler served as a private in 1780 out of Lenox, Mass. He was in Capt. White's company and Col. John Brown's regiment.
James Keeler was one of the early settlers of Essex, Vt. He cleared and improved a farm there and lived on it the rest of his life.
He died on Apr.3, 1826 and his wife on Mar.12, 1830. They are buried in the cemetery at Essex Center, Vt. The inscription on his tombstone states "Death is a debt to nature due - Which I have paid and so must you". The inscription on his wife's stone is "As you are now once was I - Prepare for death and follow me".

James Keeler, b. Dec.17, 1789, married Sarah A. Warner, daughter of John and Joanna Ames Warner. She was born at Essex, Vermont on May 12, 1794.
In 1828 the couple moved to St.Albans, Vermont and resided there until 1834 at which time they with their children moved to Orleans Co., N.Y., near the town of Murray, where the children grew up. Their oldest son, Truman, married in 1838 and wished to go farther west so his father and mother and a brother and sister moved to Winnebago Co., Illinois. The hardship of the frontier life proved to be too much for the health of the wife and mother, Sarah A.Warner Keeler and she died Apr.27, 1839. James Keeler married again, Hannah (???), who died Oct. 7, 1858. He died Apr.23, 1868 and is buried with his two wives in the Greenwood Cemetery at Rockford, Ill. The lot the E1/2 & SW1/4 of Lot 23 was purchased by Alonzo Corey on Dec.8, 1857. This date indicates that the remains of Sarah Keeler were moved there from another location.
The children of James and Sarah A. Warner Keeler all born at Essex, Chittenden Co., Vt. were:
1. Truman, b. Mar.18, 1813.
2. John, b. May 15, 1815; m. Ellen Douglas Comstock. He
remained in New York. His children shown in the 1850
census for Orleans Co., were Merriet, Caroline, Sarah
and Charles. He died July 4, 1893.
3. James Franklin, b. 1818 (census); m. Elizabeth (???).
The 1850 census shows him as a merchant. Family
letters of the period indicate that he was in very
poor health. He had three children and they all died
without issue. The 1850 census for Jo Daviess Co.,
