John KIRTLAND Lt. 
John was born in August 1659 in Lynn,Essex,Massachusetts. John's father was Nathaniel (Kirtland) KERTLAND and his mother was Parnell RAND. His paternal grandparents were Phillip KIRTLAND and Philip KIRTLAND; his maternal grandfather was Robert RAND. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named Philip (Kertland), Nathaniel, Sarah, Hannah, Anne, Sarah, Elizabeth, Mary and Priscilla. He died at the age of 56 on January 20th, 1716 in Saybrook,Middlesex,Connecticut.General Notes
