BIOGRAPHY: 1. Accordind to the 1930 Federal Census Shelby Jones was the head of household in Myton, Utah. His occupation was proprietor and the industry was listed as Blacksmith. He had living with him at that time,His Wife Mabel Pearl and two of his Daughters, Dorothy and Elnora.
There are many faults with this Census Such as, Shelby show his age to be 66, this would make his year of birth as 1864 not 1873 as known by all other reecords. It also shows the father of Shelby born in Idaho not Arkansas and his Mother born in Utah not Alabama. Despite all the inconcicstancies the record is very accurate by other means.
2.On the 1880 Federal Census Shelby is shown living with his Father James W. and Mother who's name is not quite ledgable but beleived to be Tabitha. His siblings living with him are;George W., William P. and a Duaghter whos name is not ledgable.They are living in the township of Prairie in the County of Carroll, Arkansas.
