Ida's father was Bernard II, Duke of Saxony and her mother was Elicia of Schweinfurt.  Her maternal grandfather was Heinrich , Margrave of Schweinfurt. She had a brother and a sister, named Ordulf and Gertrude.  She died on July 31st, 1102.1 


Ida's first family with Albert III, Count of Namur

‌Ida and Albert were married in a religious ceremony about 1067.1   They had a son and a daughter, named Godfrey and Adelaide.
