John Edwin Hughes

John Edwin was born on December 3rd, 1884 in Crawford County,Indiana.  John Edwin's father was Stephen E. Hughes and his mother was Catherine E. Riddle. He had a brother named Elmer Washington.  He was the older of the two children.  He died at the age of 68 on October 9th, 1953 in Sepulveda,Los Angeles Co.,CA.  He was buried in Chatworth,CA.

‌John Edwin and Elsie Bertha were married in a religious ceremony on August 27th, 1905 in Marengo,Crawford County,Indiana.  They had three sons and three daughters, named Rupert Terry, Emerson Edwin, Kermit Ralph, Edna Virginia, Mildred Juanita and Living.
